Coming Soon: Mawari’s Node License Sale
An overview of the upcoming Mawari node sale and what to expect. More details coming soon!
Web2 cloud giants like Amazon and Microsoft currently control the Internet’s infrastructure—resulting in bandwidth bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and underwhelming user experiences. But decentralized networks are flipping the script.
With DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks), users are no longer passive consumers of next-gen extended reality (XR) experiences—an emergent field encompassing augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality. They can participate in building the Internet infrastructure powering these immersive experiences, designed for greater resilience, scalability, and security compared to centralized systems.
At Mawari, we’re building the infrastructure for the next evolution of the Internet: a place where spatial computing content blends seamlessly with our world and becomes part of daily lives, powered by a global network of independent contributors. Our upcoming node license sale is your opportunity to contribute to the future of the 3D Internet as a supporter of decentralized infrastructure, not just using it.
While the operational details of the node sale are still being finalized, below is an overview of the purpose of our node sale and what to expect.
Mawari Nodes: Your Opportunity to Help Build the 3D Internet
The Mawari Network is the first DePIN designed specifically for real-time spatial content streaming. This specialized focus means the system is tailored to handle the complexities of streaming high-quality, low-latency XR content at scale, which makes the network inherently more resilient to attacks relative to web2 internet infrastructure.
Phase I - Securing the Network with Guardian Nodes
Mawari’s top priority is network security and efficiency, which is why our node license sale will initially focus on Guardian Nodes. These nodes monitor overall network health and verify the quality of streaming content delivered.
More specifically, Guardian Nodes’ responsibilities include assessing critical performance indicators like latency, bandwidth, and content quality to maintain the high standards necessary for immersive, real-time experiences. By monitoring the Mawari network, these community-run Guardian Nodes will make it more performant and more resilient as it grows.
Once the Guardian Nodes are in place, rendering capabilities will be scaled based on network insights and the fast-growing demand for streaming spatial computing experiences. More details on additional nodes to come!
By distributing computing power and network security across a diverse global network, we are creating a resilient, high-performance platform built to deliver 3D content at scale. The result? More powerful, secure, and low-latency experiences powered by users who directly benefit from the network’s utility.
